About Us
D and T Education Ltd is run by Hugh Johnson, an experienced teacher,school leader, former local authority consultant for Leicestershire and Senior Lecturer at Nottingham Trent University and an Associate Lecturer at Sheffield Hallam University . In addition to this Hugh is currently:
- a D&TA / CfBT Regional Subject Adviser for Design and Technology for the East Midlands government region;
- a Pro/DESKTOP and Pro/ENGINEER Accredited Trainer;
- joint leader of the West Midlands Digital D&T Support Centre in partnership with Paul Garniner at Finham Park School in Coventry;
- module tutor for a small cohort of MA students studying Module 14-7055 Managing the School DT Curriculum with Sheffield Hallam;
- an Examination Associate for Edexcel moderating GCE Graphic Products with Resistant Materials coursework;
- Vice Chair of the National Association of Advisors and Inspectors for Design and Technology (NAAIDT)and current Chair of the West Midlands branch;
- Chair of Governors for a small rural primary school in Northamptonshire.
